Our 2017 in review

What a year 2017 has been! We have been given so many new opportunities and obtained so many new skills.

It was our first year competing in the Professional Class of the F1 in Schools™ competition, and the first time a team from the Riverina had competed. But we didn't let that hold us back; we secured Third Overall at the NSW State Finals.

At the competition we also had success in other areas, bringing home three categorical awards; Best Managed Enterprise, Best Team Marketing, and Best Graphic Design. These three awards, plus our overall placing of third, saw us qualify to represent NSW at the Australian National Finals.

The Australia National Finals will be held in Launceston between the 4th and 9th March 2018 - and you can keep up to date with the teams progress either on here, or our social media pages.

2017 provided us with several opportunities to get out and about, and engage with the local community. We hosted several street stalls raffling of goods donated by local businesses, whilst raising awareness about the competition and our team.

I would like to take the opportunity to thank all the members of the community who have supported us along our journey. As well as thank all our project sponsors, namely our major sponsors: Ray White Tumut, Visy, and Snowy Valleys Council. What we are doing, and what we have accomplished, would not have been remotely possible without your continued support.

I wish everyone all the best for the new year, thank you.
