National Final Preparations
With only 7 days until Iota begins our journey to the Australian National F1 in Schools Final, we have been intensely preparing. We have submitted our portfolios for printing, and all of our project elements such as our car and trade display will be revealed in the coming week.
As well as working hard each team member has been had been lucky enough to be mentored by many amazing local businesses and industry experts in order to enhance our skill set.
We would like to thank Malcolm Everingham for providing us with professionally 3D printed parts for our National Final car. He did not hesitate to assist us and took only a few days to professionally print all our 3D printed components.
We would also like to thank Bryan Porrit for providing us with high-quality race wheels and assisting us with the experimentation of different outer wheel cap materials.
We would like to thank all of our sponsors who have made the aspirations of the team a reality. Carter Holt Harvey has kindly donated the veneered particle board we use to construct our Trade Display and which Tumut Valley Kitchens manufactured. White Moth Studios provided us with all of the printing of our portfolio, sponsorship prospectuses, stickers and the vinyl wrapping of our booth.
Most of all we would like thank our three major sponsors of the team; Visy, Ray White Tumut and Snowy Valleys Council who have provided us with this opportunity to participate at Nationals. We also extend this thank you to our additional sponsors; DME, White Moth Studios. Club Tumut, High Country Logging and Little River Earthworks, 2XU, Abec357. We were also able to work closely with several members of the Snowy Valleys Council for our community engagement days and financial advice.
Overall, the team is very excited to be competing and hope to return home National Champions.
